The ODN T1 Link Protector is provisioned at each remote location of a network and monitors a standard T1 line from both ends. If either end fails, the system reacts and within a short four seconds automatically establishes a mesh satellite channel directly from one end point to the other and re-establishes the T1 connectivity.

The ODN T1 Link Protector's “Automatic Failover” protection will provide you with a near instantaneous connection to the Orbital Data Network when your ground-based T1 lines go down. The system is programmed to look like a standard Extended Superframe T1 line for transparent integration into your existing network, and can be configured for a single or multiple channels as your unique needs require.
